I ordered some of these sample sizes (Or they might be travel size) on eBay after hearing some rave reviews about them from PBunnieP on Blogger: http://www.pbunniep.com/2012/02/review-skin79-vip-gold-bb-cream.html
So after looking around a bit I decided to just go for it and ordered them off eBay for under £5. (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SKIN79-BB-Cream-Miniature-Black-Set-Pink-Prestige-Gold-Pearl-Trial-FREE-GIFT-/130812310929?_trksid=p5197.m1992&_trkparms=aid%3D111000%26algo%3DREC.CURRENT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D14%26meid%3D4966204178009393381%26pid%3D100015%26prg%3D1006%26rk%3D4%26sd%3D261051426401%26)
I’ve only tired one of them so far which is the Skin 79 Diamond Luminous Pearl BB Cream.
The eBay seller had said that you are meant to pat the product onto your skin, I did this after I moisturised since the Asian market BB Cream – from what I have read at least – is to help add the skin to looking however you are after your skin to look like. So with this one it’s about giving the skin a dewy/glow as well as giving the skin extra moisture and elasticity, which comes from the Cavier extract and pearl.
I did notice that I does have a bit of a scent to it, nothing over powerful, just a little bit flowery and the scent certainly doesn’t last that long either.
Only problem would be for people who prefer to have a matte finish or who aren’t really keen on the shimmer as it might highlight the oily skin – although I have combination skin and my skin has behaved itself even though I did worry about that too.
It’s very much a sheer coverage, so if you wanted to you could just leave that as is. However I like to use some Western BB Cream (17 BB Cream) on top of it to just even out my skin tone a bit more.
Repurchase? Unlikely, I would probably only use it to highlight areas of my skin, which would – to me at least – defeat the purpose of this BB Cream.
