It’s hardly the most exciting thing in the world, nail polish remover. It’s used to – obviously – remove nail polish and some people use it to clean golf balls.
This nail polish remover is part of the ‘new’ trend, it’s not a bottle it’s a tub, with a sponge that is soaked with nail polish remover and you put one finger at a time to rub the nail polish off. It’s a nifty thing, quick and easy to use and saves those of us who enjoy wearing glitter polish because we don’t have to waste time wrapping our nails up with cotton wool and then add on the foil wrap.
This is the first time I have used this kind of nail polish remover and it really does the job, I would have to say that that you might want to get two, one for glitter polish and the other for normal polish. Trust me, although you wash your hands afterwards every time you put a finger in you will get traces of old polish or glitter back out.
I was lucky enough to buy my one from Kiko Make Up by Milano down in London a few months ago – the store is stunning – and when I used it I was impressed by it. obviously the main problem with this is that it’s not good for your nails. You need to wash your hands and then put oil and moisturiser or whatever your put to add moisture to your nail, it claims to have vitamin E oil to stop your nails being dehydrated, but mine feel it every time and it’s only a finger two seconds, twist and out.
Out of sheer laziness I would say I would buy it again, just because it is quick and easy, with no fuss, I don’t have to worry about having cotton wool pads in the house, but the dehydrating part is a big fib from Kiko from what I can tell.
